The missing names are those of region 7 and 11. Is it correct that Treslong is both zone and regional commander? Zone 4, The Betuwe, will be placed under the command of region Utrecht. London assumes that her zone 4 is the same as Dutch resistance zone 7.

Following is a translation from chapter 29 of the book written by Eddy de Roever titled 'London calling Amsterdam'.
The Saskia Radio Game.
Somewhere in December 1944 Tobias received an order from London to deliver a wireless set in The Hague to a member of the Sicherheitsdienst. What was the case? On July 6th 1944 an aircraft crashed with four SOE agents on board near Makkum, Friesland. It crashed into the Zuiderzee killing all people on board. One of the agents, Johannes Walter's mission code was BOWLS. After the German had found on the body of Walter his crystals and de codename BOWLS. Kriminalrat Joseph Schreieder saw an other opportunity for playing a radiogame, like the famous Englandspiel. He ordered SS Scharführer Johann Blanke to act like a 'turned' nazi. Blanke worked like Schreieder at the Binnenhof in The Hague. Blanke had lived quite a few years in the United States and this fact might convince SOE of his intentions. Otto Haubrok became also a gamemember.
However SOE had learned from the disastrous Englandspiel and did not step into the trap. Karel Klijzing and Kas de Graaf decided to turn the game and play their own game, by feeding the Germans with false information. This game lasted from July 28th 1944 till Februari 8th 1945. During this period of time SOE send all kind of false information to BOWLS (Otto Haubrok), who had no idea that he was the one who was fooled.
The game started with a telegram send from Holland over the 'BOWLS line' it stated: "My name is Johann Blanke. I have been in the United States and Argentina for 15 years. I was drafted into the Gestapo and later on, during a visit to Germany, had to translate the information given by your captured agents. I also had to registrate the wireless set you sent to your agents. I was looking forward to do something against this damned Hitler regime. Recently I received and translated material from three of your agents who washed up on July 14th near Makkum. I wish to help by working for you. Please give me a chance to show my sincerity. I will be on the air again on July 31st and will wait for your answer".
SOE/BBO was of course interested in details of the killed agents and where aware that BOWLS had information of those three agents. therefore London send a request to BOWLS asking for personal information of agents who were captured during the last six months. On August 1st 1944 London received the following information from Blanke: "I am Johann Blanke, born August 26th in Leipzig, I have worked in Buenos Aires and New York. The killed agents are: Pieter Nijhof, Johannes Albert Kamp en Jan Boersma (their real names were: Pieter Kwint, Johannes Walter en Jan Bockma). We did find crystals, but no wireless sets. Can you arrange a set for me to be able to transmit between 13.00 and 15.00 hrs local time, every second or third day is most suitable".
After this telegram, more telegrams are send vice versa London does sometimes answer in German, but all given information by London is harmless to good enough not to alert the Germans. Then BOWLS asks for a WT set, a radioplan and codes, all have to be delivered at 11 Anna Paulownaplein in The Hague at the home furnishings store of a certain Kuper. In order to carry on the radiogame Hans is ordered by London to deliver the WT material. Normally speaking this job had to be done by BBO agent Cor van Paaschen who living in The Hague. London knew however that Van Paaschen was in touch with a certain Zwolsman who was on his turn in touch with SD man Frank, Haubrok's chef at the SD in The Hague, This was too risky for Cor van Paaschen, so the job was given to Tobias. The one who had to deliver had to be a cut-out, not known to the SD and not known in The Hague as well. London had so much trust in Johann Blanke (Bowls) that the person who would bring him the wireless set also had to explain to him how to operate it.
Tobias received this telegram on December 7th 1944: "We are in touch with a Gestapo man within the SD, who informed us he wants to works for us and he is asking for a radio plan, a wireless set, crystals and codes which have to be delivered at 11 Anna Paulownaplein, The Hague. We do not trust him, but he might be useful for other things. After you have received your new codes and radio plans would it be possible to deliver the set, your ols radio plans a microprint and an old one-time-pad to him"?
Tobias had to decide, after the wireless was dropped, who would do the delivery in The Hague. On December 21st he made up his mind and asked Dr. Felix to carry out this job. On Saturday December 30st everything was ready.
Dr. Felex tells about it: "By the end of December 1944 Hans gave me an order to deliver WT material at a certain Kuper at 11 Anna Paulownaplein in The Hague. The address seemed to be a 'safe' SD address. After talking to Hans it was decided that I would not do the handover myself. On my request I was however allow to monitor the operation. A letter would also be delivered to make it possible to make contact again if there were problems with the WT set. The handover would be carried out by mr. E. Muller (lawyer) and a second contact would be done by mrs. E. Kleyn. However during this second contact mrs. Kleyn, against her instructions, went inside the store and did not come out anymore. Mr. Muller disobeyed my instruction too and stayed in the neighbourhood and was arrested. Al this I was able to observe out of my hiding place. A while later someone in civilian clothes approached me and I was arrested too. I did let this happed while I was convinced that I still would be able to use my firearm. The three of use , Muller was handcuffed, were taken away by two SD men in civilian clothes. Those two men were not paying much attention to me and I was able to draw my pistol and open fire. I hit one SD man only in his shoulder and after hiding behind a lamppost he was able to return fire. The other SD man had hit Muller in a life threatening way, just before I shot him down. Later I heard he had passed away. Muller however was able, in spite being mortally wounded, to get away just like Mrs. Kleyn. I emptied my magazine on the SD man who I had shot in the shoulder. It seemed wiser to me to jump on my bike before changing the magazine of my pistol, but in the meantime the SD man had reloaded his pistol. When he started shooting he hit me twice in my right hip. However I was able to get away on my bike and reached the house of Dr. Exalto, who was able to transport me by ambulance to the house of Dr. Gentis who took care of my bullet wounds. Mr. Muller however was seriously wounded, but fortunately Dr. Gentis was able to operate on him in the Red Cross hospital in The Hague. After a long recovery period he was able after the liberation to travel to Makassar. After this incident I thought it was wise to disappear and by the end of April 1945 I was ordered by RICHARD (Jacob van der Gaag) to travel through the lines to the liberated south".
When Mr. Muller had handed over the parcel containing the WT material to a worker of the home furnishings store, the worker noticed there was no name on the parcel and opened it. She discovered the WT set and the letter how to operated it. This woman was some how connected to the SD in The Hague and called them right away. As they arrived they found out that a courier would return the next day and they decided to be there too. The next day they observed three cut-outs moving through the neighbourhood and decided to arrest them. they were unaware that their boss Frank knew all about the operation and so did Haubrok. This Sonderkommado however thought they had discovered something new. The whole thing resulted in the shooting at the back of the house in the De Ruijterstraat.
The fact that Johann Blanke had chosen this address means that in the store, or very nearby, he had a connection with someone. According to the sent telegrams Blanke was very disappointed about the way the WT material was handed over. Because no one of the Sonderkommando, mrs. Kleyn or the resistance in The Hague really knew what this was all about the Saskia radiogame could continue.
However why Klijzing decided to let Tobias carry out this dangerous operation remains a mystery. If Dr. Felix had been caught, this could have jeopardised operation Draughts completely.
