Pieter de Vos (41) meldt dat zijn persoonlijke berichten van Londen met de nummers 21 en 22 goed binnengekomen zijn. De beide checks en de extra check zijn allen aanwezig.

Maandag 1 januari 1945, de NBS (371) heeft de bevolking opgeroepen geen medewerking te verlenen aan de door de Duitsers afgekondigde meldingsplicht voor de Arbeitseinsatz. De NBS legt dit uit als "mensenroof" en .

Woensdag 3 januari, Henri Koot (374) geeft antwoord op de vraag bij welke organisatie de regionale commandanten oorspronkelijk behoorden. Het antwoord is door de verminking niet helemaal duidelijk. Ook zal men zo snel mogelijk een contact adres in Drenthe opgeven.
Tobias (375) geeft aan dat het opgegeven contactadres in telegram 253 in Zutphen misschien niet meer betrouwbaar is.
Koot (376) geeft aan dat de regels voor het niet aanvallen van schepen geladen met voedsel voor het westen van land op het IJsselmeer niet aangevallen mogen worden. De schepen voeren een speciale vlag om aan te geven dat zij voedsel vervoeren.
Tobias (377) geeft in het volgende telegraam aan dat hij inderdaad de EHBO kist heeft ontvangen en hij bedankt Londen voor het sturen van interessant (Pers) materiaal. Hij zal het deel wat bestemd is voor Pieter Dekker (Cor van Paaschen) die dag nog laten bezorgen. Verder bedankt hij Eva voor de goede wensen. Op veld SALLY heeft echter geen dropping plaats gevonden, het vliegtuig werd wel gezien, maar het voerde geen dropping uit.
Verder vraagt Tobias (379) of Arthur Brown al in bevrijd gebied in Brabant is gearriveerd. D378.
Henri Koot geeft nadere toelichting over de verdeling van de Betuwe, het land van Altena en de Biesbosch over de verschillende regio's.
Pieter de Vos (43) stuurt een heel kort berich dat "nacht" (ontvangst) in orde is.
Londen (251) geeft aan dat het contact adres in Zutphen nooit is gebruikt en zal ook nu niet gebruikt worden. Arthur Brown is nog niet in bevrijd gebied gearriveerd, maar men zal Tobias op de hoogte houden.
Tobias had in telegram 377 aangegeven dat er niets op veld SALLY gedropt was, maar volgens Londen (252) heeft de piloot wel degelijk een dropping uitgevoerd. Hier is dus iets goed misgegaan. Ook heeft men tijdens deze dropping van 2 januari een Eureka baken meegedropt. Eureka bakens moeten geinstalleerd worden op de velden MARTINI en SALLY, terwijl veld SALLY zijn baken met veld LALOE moet delen. Verder geeft Londen aan dat de Hawkins granaten bedoeld zijn ter vervanging van de bandenmijnen. Op 4 januari wil men een dropping op veld EDINBURGH doen met een volledige lading containers en drie pakketten waarin onder andere een Eureka baken verpakt is.
Henri Koot krijgt van Londen (253) te horen dat er geen garantie gegeven wordt voor het niet aanvallen van schepen op het IJsselmeer. Aangeraden worden alle transporten van voedsel en kinderen 's nachts uit te voeren, maar dat ook dit geen garantie geeft.
In het laatste bericht van Londen (254) die dag geeft men aan dat de piloot de lichten van veld SALLY niet goed heeft kunnen zien en zijn lading op het Eureka baken gedropt heeft. Mogelijk is de lading 500 meter van het doel terecht gekomen. Men stelt voor ten Noord-Westen en ten Zuid-Oosten van het veld te gaan zoeken naar het gedropte materiaal.

London informs Tobias (252) that the pilot who would drop a load on field SALLY on January 2nd reported
that the load was successfully dropped. Tobias must investigate what went on since he reported in message 377 that nothing was dropped. With this load an Eureka beacon was dropped. London advises to have one beacon on field MARTINI and one at field SALLY. The third beacon should rotate between SALLY and LALOE. Does Tobias agree with this arrangement? The recently delivered Hawkins grenades are ment to be a substitute for the tyrebursteres. The RAF will soon try to drop a load on field EDINBURGH as from Thursday night, January 4th. During this operation 24 containers will be dropped together with three packages, one of them contains a Eureka beacon.

London informs Tobias (254) that the pilot did not see the lights on the dropping field and decided to drop the load at 22.26 hrs guided by the Eureka beacon. The load might have been dropped 500 meters from the pinpoint. most likely the load can be found to the the north west or to the south east of the field.
Donderdag 4 januari, Tobias (380) laat Londen weten dat zij moeten uitluisteren op het nieuwe zendschema van FRANS (Jan Steman) Tobs zal 10 telegrammen voor Pieter Dekker (Cor van Paaschen) versturen vanwege uitpeil problemen die Jan Steman ondervindt.
In dit telegram laat Tobias (381) weten dat het materiaal in Den Haag is afgeleverd (het Saskia spel) door drie tussenpersonen waarvan nummer 3 niet terug gekeerd is en de nummers 1 en 2 in de buurt door de Gestapo werden gearresteerd. Omdat een deel van het telegram niet leesbaar was valt nog te vermelden dat de nummers 1 en 2, waaronder Dr. Felix, konden ontsnappen. Hij werd echter door een kogel in zijn bil getroffen. Bij dit voorval is ook Otto Haubrok betrokken, dit blijkt later wanneer hij Tobias enige weken later in gevangenschap spreekt.
Tobias (161) vraagt assisentie om Herman Schure veilig in Maastricht te krijgen, hij was leider van de Volksbeweging in Limburg, maar werd in verband met de krant 'Je Maintiendrai' gearresteerd en eind september vrij gelaten en is op eigen houtje op weg naar bevrijd gebied. Dit telegram heeft een vreemd nummer.

Woensdag 3 januari, Henri Koot (374) geeft antwoord op de vraag bij welke organisatie de regionale commandanten oorspronkelijk behoorden. Het antwoord is door de verminking niet helemaal duidelijk. Ook zal men zo snel mogelijk een contact adres in Drenthe opgeven.
Tobias (375) geeft aan dat het opgegeven contactadres in telegram 253 in Zutphen misschien niet meer betrouwbaar is.
Koot (376) geeft aan dat de regels voor het niet aanvallen van schepen geladen met voedsel voor het westen van land op het IJsselmeer niet aangevallen mogen worden. De schepen voeren een speciale vlag om aan te geven dat zij voedsel vervoeren.
Tobias (377) geeft in het volgende telegraam aan dat hij inderdaad de EHBO kist heeft ontvangen en hij bedankt Londen voor het sturen van interessant (Pers) materiaal. Hij zal het deel wat bestemd is voor Pieter Dekker (Cor van Paaschen) die dag nog laten bezorgen. Verder bedankt hij Eva voor de goede wensen. Op veld SALLY heeft echter geen dropping plaats gevonden, het vliegtuig werd wel gezien, maar het voerde geen dropping uit.

Henri Koot geeft nadere toelichting over de verdeling van de Betuwe, het land van Altena en de Biesbosch over de verschillende regio's.
Pieter de Vos (43) stuurt een heel kort berich dat "nacht" (ontvangst) in orde is.
Londen (251) geeft aan dat het contact adres in Zutphen nooit is gebruikt en zal ook nu niet gebruikt worden. Arthur Brown is nog niet in bevrijd gebied gearriveerd, maar men zal Tobias op de hoogte houden.
Tobias had in telegram 377 aangegeven dat er niets op veld SALLY gedropt was, maar volgens Londen (252) heeft de piloot wel degelijk een dropping uitgevoerd. Hier is dus iets goed misgegaan. Ook heeft men tijdens deze dropping van 2 januari een Eureka baken meegedropt. Eureka bakens moeten geinstalleerd worden op de velden MARTINI en SALLY, terwijl veld SALLY zijn baken met veld LALOE moet delen. Verder geeft Londen aan dat de Hawkins granaten bedoeld zijn ter vervanging van de bandenmijnen. Op 4 januari wil men een dropping op veld EDINBURGH doen met een volledige lading containers en drie pakketten waarin onder andere een Eureka baken verpakt is.
Henri Koot krijgt van Londen (253) te horen dat er geen garantie gegeven wordt voor het niet aanvallen van schepen op het IJsselmeer. Aangeraden worden alle transporten van voedsel en kinderen 's nachts uit te voeren, maar dat ook dit geen garantie geeft.
In het laatste bericht van Londen (254) die dag geeft men aan dat de piloot de lichten van veld SALLY niet goed heeft kunnen zien en zijn lading op het Eureka baken gedropt heeft. Mogelijk is de lading 500 meter van het doel terecht gekomen. Men stelt voor ten Noord-Westen en ten Zuid-Oosten van het veld te gaan zoeken naar het gedropte materiaal.

that the load was successfully dropped. Tobias must investigate what went on since he reported in message 377 that nothing was dropped. With this load an Eureka beacon was dropped. London advises to have one beacon on field MARTINI and one at field SALLY. The third beacon should rotate between SALLY and LALOE. Does Tobias agree with this arrangement? The recently delivered Hawkins grenades are ment to be a substitute for the tyrebursteres. The RAF will soon try to drop a load on field EDINBURGH as from Thursday night, January 4th. London informs Tobias (254) that the pilot did not see the lights on the dropping field and decided to drop the load at 22.26 hrs guided by the Eureka beacon. The load might have been dropped 500 meters from the pinpoint. most likely the load can be found to the the north west or to the south east of the field.
Donderdag 4 januari, Tobias (380) laat Londen weten dat zij moeten uitluisteren op het nieuwe zendschema van FRANS (Jan Steman) Tobs zal 10 telegrammen voor Pieter Dekker (Cor van Paaschen) versturen vanwege uitpeil problemen die Jan Steman ondervindt.
In dit telegram laat Tobias (381) weten dat het materiaal in Den Haag is afgeleverd (het Saskia spel) door drie tussenpersonen waarvan nummer 3 niet terug gekeerd is en de nummers 1 en 2 in de buurt door de Gestapo werden gearresteerd. Omdat een deel van het telegram niet leesbaar was valt nog te vermelden dat de nummers 1 en 2, waaronder Dr. Felix, konden ontsnappen. Hij werd echter door een kogel in zijn bil getroffen. Bij dit voorval is ook Otto Haubrok betrokken, dit blijkt later wanneer hij Tobias enige weken later in gevangenschap spreekt.
Tobias (161) vraagt assisentie om Herman Schure veilig in Maastricht te krijgen, hij was leider van de Volksbeweging in Limburg, maar werd in verband met de krant 'Je Maintiendrai' gearresteerd en eind september vrij gelaten en is op eigen houtje op weg naar bevrijd gebied. Dit telegram heeft een vreemd nummer.
Verder meldt Tobias (382) dat in Amersfoort bij de kruising, Laan 1914 en J.P. Heyelaan, 20 stuks zwaar gecamoufleerde 1 mans torpedo's langs beide zijden van de weg staan. Hij geeft de coordinaten op en meldt dat de bewakers in het Rijksopvoedingsgesticht verblijven vlak bij het België monument.
Telegram 383 van Draughts is niet aanwezig bij het NIOD.

Tobias responds to London (382) on their message number 230 asking to locate one-man torpedoes. Tobias received information that on both sides of the Lane 1914 at a crossing with the Jan Pieter Heijelane in Amersfoort are 21 heavily camouflaged one man torpedoes located. Coordinates are 12.50 to 61.15. Many of the German guards are staying at the Rijksopvoedingsgesticht near the Belgium Monument.

Vrijdag 5 januari, de RVV stuurt via Tobias (384) een bericht naar de Nederlandse Regering dat HENK (van Doorn) de voorzitter van de RVV sinds 17 november 1944 onderweg is naar Eindhoven. Men veronderstelt dat hij gedood, of gearresteerd. De volgende vertegenwoordiger van de RVV, RICHARD alias VICTOR (Jacob van der Gaag) vertrekt richting Eindhoven op 15 januari, Men stelt het op prijs als hij weer snel terugkomt, een telegram met details van de Grote Advies Commissie volgt spoedig.
Londen (256) geeft aan wat erop veld EDINBURGH gedropt is. In ieder geval 12 containers met Brens en Bazooka's en de bijbehorende munitie. Het totale aantal gedropte containers bedraagt 24 stuks.
Ook wil Londen (257) graag een bewijs van vrijstelling hebben voor de Arbeitseinsatz, deze willen zij vervolgens op grote schaal namaken en in Nederland laten distribueren zodat uiteindelijk het Duitse systeem instort.

Tobias sends a RVV message to London (384) in which the RVV informs the Dutch government in exile that Henk, chairman of the RVV started travelling to liberated Brabant on November 17th. His destination was Eindhoven and then through to London. He is reported missing, probably killed or arrested in an attempt to cross the river Rhijn. Now Richard (Jacob van der Gaag) alias Victor will try to reach Eindhoven and he will start travelling on January 15th. His early return to the occupied part of Holland is appriciated. A detailed telegram of the 'Council of trustful men' will follow soonest.

London informs Henri Koot (257) when 'new certificates of exemption for the Arbeitseinsatz (forced labour)' are issued then Koot has to send a set of originals directly to London. They must cover the main areas of occupied Holland. London can possibly help by printing masses of these certificates. In the end the Germans will find out about it, but at least it might delay the razzias.
Zaterdag 6 januari, Tobias (385) informeert Londen dat er niet is gedropt op veld EDINBURGH, men heeft het vliegtuig wel rond zien cirkelen. De vermiste lading voor SALLY is niet gevonden, men heeft zelfs met boten op het IJsselmeer gezocht. Tobias is er van overtuigd dat de lading niet in de handen van de Duitsers is gevallen.
Telegram 255 heb ik niet in mijn bezit, en kan daardoor het antwoord van Tobias in bericht 386 niet duiden.
Blijkbaar wil men FRANS (Jan Steman) overplaatsen. Naar Amsterdam sturen, waarschijnlijk omdat Tobias (386) hem blijkbaar wel goed kan gebruiken. Tobias lijkt het echter ook belangrijk te vinden dat Londen radiocontact heeft met de ondergrondse pers en met Den Haag. De laatste zin van dit telegram is zeer onduidelijk.
Arthur Brown (258) is op 5 januari in bevrijd gebied gearriveerd.
Via Londen (260) hoort Tobias dat Pieter Dekker (Cor van Paaschen) heeft gemeld dat KAREL (Gerrit Reisiger) in Zeist gearresteerd is terwijl hij berichten voor het binnenlandse net aan het verzenden was. Hij werd verraden door zijn eigen 'key-clicks' op een gewone radio te horen waren en de Duitsers alarmerden.
Londen vraagt Tobias te bevestigen dat er in Drenthe geen commandant aanwezig is, maar dat er aan gewerkt wordt.
Londen (261) vernam dit waarschijnlijk van Peter Tazelaar die in Friesland zat.
Londen (262) meldt dat de ondergrondse pers langzaam op instorten staat, maar men vindt het belangrijk om de radio verbinding met Den Haag in stand te houden. Tobias moet met Cor van Paaschen een afspraak maken dat hij in noodgevallen over marconist Jan Steman kan beschikken. Londen waarschuwt dat de Duitsers erg actief zijn met het opsporen van zenders door middel van radio peilingen. Men moet de uitzendingen dus kort houden. De signalen van de Eureka bakens zijn erg zwak, misschien zijn de batterijen uitgeput.

Tobias informs London (385) that nothing was dropped on field EDINBURGH last night. The ground crew saw the pane circling around several times. The last load dropped on field SALLY is completely lost. The men from the resistance looked everywhere, they even went out with boats on the IJsselmeer. According to Tobias it is not possible that the load fell into German hands.

London informs Tobias (262) that the illegal press is slowly fading out due to the present situation (paper shortage), but of course it is important to London to keep in touch with The Hague. London offers a possibility to Tobias that in case of an emergency he can use Frans (Jan Steman), but he must make some sort of arrangement with Pieter (Cor van Paaschen) about this. There are strong indications that the Germans are fanatically hunting down WT signals, therefore Tobias's WT operator should limit the time they are on the air. The RAF informed London that the signals from the Eureka beacons are very weak, maybe the batteries have run down.

Tobias sends a RVV message to London (384) in which the RVV informs the Dutch government in exile that Henk, chairman of the RVV started travelling to liberated Brabant on November 17th. His destination was Eindhoven and then through to London. He is reported missing, probably killed or arrested in an attempt to cross the river Rhijn. Now Richard (Jacob van der Gaag) alias Victor will try to reach Eindhoven and he will start travelling on January 15th. His early return to the occupied part of Holland is appriciated. A detailed telegram of the 'Council of trustful men' will follow soonest.

London informs Tobias (256) after receiving his message number 383 that the load dropped on field EDINBURGH is eight containers, twenty filled with bazookas and Bren guns and four filled with ammunition for the Brens and bazookas. The total amount of dropped containers is 24.

London informs Henri Koot (257) when 'new certificates of exemption for the Arbeitseinsatz (forced labour)' are issued then Koot has to send a set of originals directly to London. They must cover the main areas of occupied Holland. London can possibly help by printing masses of these certificates. In the end the Germans will find out about it, but at least it might delay the razzias.
Zaterdag 6 januari, Tobias (385) informeert Londen dat er niet is gedropt op veld EDINBURGH, men heeft het vliegtuig wel rond zien cirkelen. De vermiste lading voor SALLY is niet gevonden, men heeft zelfs met boten op het IJsselmeer gezocht. Tobias is er van overtuigd dat de lading niet in de handen van de Duitsers is gevallen.
Telegram 255 heb ik niet in mijn bezit, en kan daardoor het antwoord van Tobias in bericht 386 niet duiden.
Blijkbaar wil men FRANS (Jan Steman) overplaatsen. Naar Amsterdam sturen, waarschijnlijk omdat Tobias (386) hem blijkbaar wel goed kan gebruiken. Tobias lijkt het echter ook belangrijk te vinden dat Londen radiocontact heeft met de ondergrondse pers en met Den Haag. De laatste zin van dit telegram is zeer onduidelijk.
Arthur Brown (258) is op 5 januari in bevrijd gebied gearriveerd.
Via Londen (260) hoort Tobias dat Pieter Dekker (Cor van Paaschen) heeft gemeld dat KAREL (Gerrit Reisiger) in Zeist gearresteerd is terwijl hij berichten voor het binnenlandse net aan het verzenden was. Hij werd verraden door zijn eigen 'key-clicks' op een gewone radio te horen waren en de Duitsers alarmerden.
Londen vraagt Tobias te bevestigen dat er in Drenthe geen commandant aanwezig is, maar dat er aan gewerkt wordt.
Londen (261) vernam dit waarschijnlijk van Peter Tazelaar die in Friesland zat.
Londen (262) meldt dat de ondergrondse pers langzaam op instorten staat, maar men vindt het belangrijk om de radio verbinding met Den Haag in stand te houden. Tobias moet met Cor van Paaschen een afspraak maken dat hij in noodgevallen over marconist Jan Steman kan beschikken. Londen waarschuwt dat de Duitsers erg actief zijn met het opsporen van zenders door middel van radio peilingen. Men moet de uitzendingen dus kort houden. De signalen van de Eureka bakens zijn erg zwak, misschien zijn de batterijen uitgeput.

Tobias informs London (385) that nothing was dropped on field EDINBURGH last night. The ground crew saw the pane circling around several times. The last load dropped on field SALLY is completely lost. The men from the resistance looked everywhere, they even went out with boats on the IJsselmeer. According to Tobias it is not possible that the load fell into German hands.

Tobias agrees with London (386) that Frans (Jan Steman) will be very useful in Amsterdam, but how does London feel about the work Pieter (Cor van Paaschen) is doing? Tobias does not like it very much if London should not be in contact with the illegal press, via Pieter and in general with The Hague. Tobias is not able to give an answer if it is wise to move Frans to Amsterdam. He awaits London's answer on this matter.

London informs Tobias (260) that they heard from Pieter Dekker (Cor van Paaschen) that Karel (Gerrit Reisiger) WT operator of Ben (Maarten Cieremans) was arrested on December 27th while he was transmitting a message on the internal Dutch radio network. He is now in the hands of the SD in The Hague.

London informs Tobias (262) that the illegal press is slowly fading out due to the present situation (paper shortage), but of course it is important to London to keep in touch with The Hague. London offers a possibility to Tobias that in case of an emergency he can use Frans (Jan Steman), but he must make some sort of arrangement with Pieter (Cor van Paaschen) about this. There are strong indications that the Germans are fanatically hunting down WT signals, therefore Tobias's WT operator should limit the time they are on the air. The RAF informed London that the signals from the Eureka beacons are very weak, maybe the batteries have run down.
