TELEGRAMS GEORGES A. MARCQ
On June 30st 1944, WT Operator “REMBRANDT” received a telegram intended for JULIEN via a broadcast transmission. The telegram confirmed the names of Georges Marcq and two airmen, Chapman and Clarke.
On July 11th 1944, WT Operator “Turner” received a message in which JULIEN was asked under point 4 whether there was any further information about Georges Marcq and the airmen Chapman and Clark.
On August 8th 1944, WT Operator TITIAN BLUE sent a telegram in which Jean reported that a Belgian had arrived in AAA (Paris) calling himself Georges Marcq.
Outstation Barcelona informed London on May 26th1944 that on May 22nd 1944, four Belgians were arrested on a VIC escape line between Perpignan and the border.
Together with Georges Marcq and the airmen Chapman and Clarke, a wounded agent using the alias RONALD was also arrested.
