History.

Became director of the Excellent Raincoat Company in June 1936, "Au Roi du Caoutchouc" Brussels.

Became director of the Foreign Excellent Raincoat Company in December 1938.

Fled to France in the summer of 1940 following the German invasion of Belgium.

Subsequently returned and lived underground in Brussels for two years.

Escaped to Switzerland in 1943.

Returned to Belgium in November 1944 to resume his business.

In de beginning of 1947 went to Palestine with his wife, who returned to Belgium on 10-01-1947.

Left Palestine on 21-04-1947 for Belgium.

Attempted to return to Palestine by the end of 1947.
