JAN DE LAAR.
Jan de Laar, agent of Goulooze's Dutch intelligence service.

Was given a six months training in Moscow in 1938. On his return to Amsterdam, provided by August van Proosdij with a transmitter and established as Proosdij's deputy in the WT service. An unsatisfactory operator.

Was in the Autumn of 1942 sent with transmitter to Kruyt junior by Goulooze to provide a WT link with Moscow for Kruyt's independent service.

Frans Cuhn was parachuted into Holland for Knochel's servive in Germany. Since Goulooze no longer had a link with Knochel and suspected German penetration of Knochel's organisation, Cuhn was given to Kruyt in November 1942 as a substitute for Jan de Laar, who returned to Goulooze's service.
