Jindkich Heinrich (Henri) Rauch, assisted Gurevich in Belgian group from 1940 till 1941. May have continued to collaborate with survivors of the group under Jeffremov, until his arrest in December 1942. Obtained false identity documents and passes for the network from Reymaeker.

History.

Lived from 1925 till 1939 with wife and children, with a family Singer in Aussig, Czecho-Slovakia.
Left Aussig on 18-08-1938 for Brno on annexation of Sudeten-Germany.
Started on 20-07-1939 as Czech representative of Belgian firm "Poudrerie Royale de Wetteren", Brussles. Obtained visa for Belgium.
Was joined by wife and daughter in September 1939 at 259 Avenue Albert, Forest. Assisted Jewish refugees from Germany.
Was arrested on 10-05-1940, but immediately released by Belgian authorities. left with family for France, to live in Czech colony in Ayde.
Returned to Belgium by the end of September 1940, c/o Claesen, 108 Rue Rodenbeck. Commenced to work with Gurevich.
Repatriation of wife and daughter to Prague at the beginning of December 1940.
In April 1941 he became director of Simexco, Brussels.
From July 1941 he associated with Hoorickx and Charles Daniels, in a separate business in the same building as Simexco, 192 Rue Royale, Brussels.
Early November 1941 his wife, Marie Rauch, was visited by Gurevich in Raudnitz (north of Prague), Czechoslovakia, under the cover as a hop merchant.
On 28-12-1942 Rauch was arrested together with Guillaume Hoorickx in Rixensart, south of Brussels.
In April 1943 he was transferred to Mauthausen, Austria, where he died on 07-01-1944.
