Was assistant to her husband, Alexander Radó, leader of R.U. network in Switzerland. Encypherer and editor of Radó's material and occasional courier to Foote in Lausanne.

History.

Life-long Communist.

Lived in Berlin in 1929, married to Alexander Radó proposing to visit the UK to learn English. In touch with Eleanor Rathbone. Typist for the central committee of the German Communist Party.

Was between March and June 1933 with Radó in Vienna, after escape from the Nazi purge in Berlin. Left for Paris.

Visited England from the 13th til 21st of September 1933.

Resident in Paris with Radó from 1933-1936, assisting him in "Agence Inpresse". said to have been employed by JOFRE (
Jeffremov?) of the Soviet Embassy and to have paid a long visit to the USSR,

Moved to Geneva in 1936.

Escaped in 1944 from Switzerland to Paris, where she remained with her mother and two sons after Radó's departure for Moscow. May have received an allowance of 25.000 French Francs a month through the Soviet Military Mission in Paris, to which she paid frequent visits.

Worked in 1946 for the Unitarian Service Committee in Paris.

Visited her sisters in Cambridge in January 1947.
