1. Sjt Brown was exfiltrated on 5 Jan and was interrogated today by Maj Sainsbury. Sjt. Brown handed in two packages that
are forwarded herewith:
a) Envelope from the SF instructor with whom Brown worked for five months, and whose field name, as pronounced by Brown,
is KOOS or GUUS - Therefore presumably ROWING.
The cover is marked "KOOS" and contains a personal letter, from his wife, to MATTHIJS VAN HENSBERGEN, address
enclosed on a loose slip.
b) Envelope from GUUS's organiser "HANS" i.e. DRAUGHTS. The cover is marked "HANS" and contains a message for SF HQ
in, it is thought, "innocent-letter".
2. The package from HANS also contained a copy of a table of GERMAN military light signals, that has been passed to GSI (a)
21 Army Group.
3. Interrogation report will follow in due course.

HRH Prince BERNHARD mentioned to me that he was very interested in the DUDOK Group in the HILVERSUM area, consisting of some 2.000 men, and in order to make sure that this Group was not already incorporated in the previous figures received from the Province of UTRECHT, I sent a special message to DRAUGHTS.
DRAUGHTS has since replied that this Group has its own Commander and is not incorporated in the UTRECHT figures. DRAUGHTS has already passed on to DUDOK one load of arms and says that he will give them more if we can put on four operations in the North of HOLLAND.
If you agree, I would like to mount the operations he has asked for, but will stagger them. AMSTERDAM have also asked for wireless material which we would deliver on these same operations.
I feel that we ought to put these operations on as soon as possible in view of the delay in transporting material from the North of HOLLAND down to the HILVERSUM area.

It is difficult to say to what extent the Germans will be able to rope in the various members of the Resistance, but in view of DRAUGHT's urgent appeal there would appear to be every reason to take this target up strongly with the Air Force and S.H.A.E.F.
