AUGUSTIN SESEE.
Augustin Sesee, alias JULES, Ostender Muzikant & FEYS (?). WT operator for Trepper's Belgian network, subordinated to, and probably recruited by, Marakov.
Stationed in Ostende almost certainly for the purpose of establishing a WT service to London, which may have been put into operation for the information collected by agents in England.
In May 1940, Marakov transferred to Brussels and established this tranmitter there. Sesee held a reserve set and was instructed to come into action in the vent of Marakov's capture. After Danilov's instruction in Brussels as assistent of Marakov in the autumn of 1941, Sesee may have assisted him in the operation of his transmitter in 101 Rue des Attrebattes.
In 1942 following Marakov's arrest Jeffremov took over his service in Belgium and Sessee was instructed to commence transmissions with his own reserve set. It is unlikely that his line came into operation. It may have been during this period that Wenzel sent him by Franz Schneider a reserve transmitter.
In August 1942 Sesee was arrested in Brussel in his lodgings, as a result of Maurice Peper's betrayal and subsequently executed.

Hij was betrokken bij de oprichting van het Onafhankelijkheidsfront in Oostende, samen met zijn buurman, de communist Emiel-Gerard Monteyne. Sesée zelf was informant in Oostende voor de Russische spionagegroep Die Rote Kapelle en verlegde later zijn activiteiten naar Brussel, hij bleef evenwel in contact met Monteyne.
Sesée was marconist. Hij werkte als hulptelegrafist bij Mikhail Makarov en later als telegrafist bij Yefremen. Hij werd 28 augustus 1942 gearresteerd en overgebracht naar het fort van Breendonk waar hij in april 1943 ter dood werd veroordeeld. Hij werd vervolgens overgebracht naar Berlijn en op 28 juli 1943 opgehangen (onthoofd) in de gevangenis van Plötzensee.
